Why Our Heating Oil Products Were Developed

Working in concert with Brookhaven National Laboratories in 1994, Advanced Fuel Solutions conducted an exhaustive review of fuel quality challenges being faced by the heating oil industry.  After identifying and validating a number of supply chain and storage issues, our company set out to take steps to help control lost man-hours and profits due to fuel related service calls.

Over the last twenty-five years, our fuel quality experts have stayed at the forefront of changes in the fuel slate and legislation. We’ve worked tirelessly ensuring  our products continue to evolve to help our heating oil dealers maximize profits in their business while providing their customers the economics and fuel quality they deserve.

What Our Clients Are Saying

“Managing winter fuel can be a challenge requiring a cold weather fuel treatment partner like Advanced Fuel Solutions. The AFS folks have helped Main Care Energy meet those home heating and on /off road challenges head on!” David Borger, Vice President Main Care Energy

“With our heating oil additive, HeatDoc™, we are able to stabilize the fuel over a long period of time—that’s the time of year when the heating system isn’t being used—call it April to October. During this time, moisture can come from the outside into the tank. By stabilizing the fuel with HeatDoc™, we’re able to ensure when the burner finally calls for oil, they have a good quality fuel. Fuel quality is not an issue for us anymore.”  – Mark Brideau – President, Brideau Energy
